Solar domestic water heating is one of the most universally applicable and cost-effective ways for homeowners to reduce their carbon footprint. This technology also has an economy of scale that can be exploited when by sharing energy with space and even pool heating systems. This presentation will review the basics of solar heating and explore the factors and considerations that affect whether homes can cost-effectively reduce their carbon footprint and energy costs by up to 50%.

This seminar is presented by Chris Weissflogg, a member of REAL's Climate Change Action Team and proprietor of EcoGen Energy Inc.
