The cities of Kitchener and Waterloo have approved the implementation of stormwater user fees that will provide for a more equitable levy and shift the greatest burden to the worst offenders: commercial buildings with wrap-around parking lots. Credits, grants and incentives will be provided to those who “do the right thing” as urged by GCC and Waterloo Green Solutions.
